Warren Elementary School
Warren Local Schools passed their bond issue in 2017 for a new elementary school, additions and renovations to the middle school and a new high school on the same site.
The new elementary school incorporates a secure, two-stage main entry in which visitors have to be granted access first into a small area from the outside and then through a second set of doors into the school itself.
It includes 5 academic learning pods, each with a central flexible studio surrounding by 6 classrooms. Each of these pods are protected by security doors without windows. The preschool pod is located on the opposite side of the building with a separate entrance and playground area. The area in between contains the student dining area, gymnasium, 2 music rooms, 2 arts rooms, and administrative area. Extensive exterior windows in classrooms provide plenty of natural light for the learning environment.
