Round Lake 116 needed a plan for expanding their crowded high school that balanced the desire for 21st century learning spaces with a project scope the community would support with a referendum. The Fanning Howey team developed a concept that uses strategic renovations and additions to integrate LearnLab configurations in all classrooms. A business incubator lab and multimedia labs supports students with real-world experience, a Project Lead the Way lab provides project-based learning initiatives and innovative STEM labs support Next Generation Science Standards. A new central gathering stair is a highlight of the school and a favorite destination for presentations.

Above all, I am extremely impressed with the resources Fanning Howey has brought to our community. I expected the architecture, engineering, and educational planning, but your ability to address issues related to technology, energy efficiency, and even grant writing has allowed our district to plan for the future in a truly holistic way. It is wonderful to have such a powerful resource at our disposal.
