High Schools
Monroe High School

This new high school is transforming education by creating a student-centered environment that fosters academic achievement, social-emotional well-being, and real-world readiness for up to 800 students.
To achieve this, the design team leveraged the power of educational visioning and strategic planning to create a 140,000 SF facility that reflects the School District’s guiding principles. The building layout and learning spaces were intentionally crafted to support experiential and interactive learning, shifting away from traditional teacher-centered instruction. Flexible classrooms, collaborative zones, and wellness-focused areas promote whole-student development, aligning with the Portrait of a Graduate. The design also incorporates future-ready infrastructure and adaptable environments that empower educators and students alike, ensuring the school remains responsive to evolving educational needs.
