Indiana University Field Hockey

Thanks to a turf replacement project, Indiana University Field Hockey is now on equal footing with other Big 10 Schools.
Fanning Howey designed the replacement of the existing 12-year-old field hockey turf field. The new field turf is a non-filled carpet that is FIH-certified and equal to the facilities found at other Big 10 schools. Careful study of existing conditions and early testing by LabSport indicated that the existing eLayer could be reused. This dramatically lowered the cost of the project.
Additional improvements added perimeter curbing and fencing to keep balls in play.
