01 Project Overview
The renovation of Belzer Middle School transforms the daily experience of students, staff, and the broader community, creating a safer, more contemporary, and more inspiring learning environment. Thoughtfully designed spaces foster connection, creativity, and engagement while supporting the evolving needs of 21st-century education.

Fanning Howey reimagined the entire facility with refreshed interior finishes, revitalized classrooms and science labs, and renewed shared spaces, including the cafeteria, serving areas, performing arts spaces, and courtyard, to enhance both learning and community life. A new multi-purpose gathering hall anchors the transformation, providing a flexible venue for community events and student performances. Designed with acoustic enhancements, a modern proscenium, and integrated performance lighting, the space elevates both everyday use and special occasions.

Together, these strategic improvements create a cohesive, functional, and future-ready campus that supports learning, collaboration, and community pride.
