01 Project Overview

Carmel High School undertook a synthetic turf replacement project for all their athletic fields to improve student-athlete comfort and support performance at the highest level.

Upon comparing current synthetic turf options with their existing product, they realized they could significantly enhance player performance and comfort. At the Varsity soccer stadium, they chose a dual fiber synthetic turf system with sand and a cool natural infill made of coconut fibers. This system offers a firm playing surface ideal for soccer and lacrosse, while significantly reducing ambient heat.
Turf upgrades also included replacement of the Varsity football field and the installation of two new practice fields next to the high school’s new activity center.
