Electrical Designer – All Locations
01 Job Description
Fanning Howey is looking for an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team. As part of our mission to create smarter places for learning, you will analyze, design and document building electrical systems for K-12 and Higher Education clients throughout Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of related experience.
Responsibilities:
- Support the company with the design of electrical systems
- Preparation of 2- and 3-dimensional construction documents, using Revit
- Prepare calculations for ComCheck and LEED certification process
- Work with senior electrical staff to perform design efforts as required
- Assist with contract administration duties such as site visits, submittal review and contractor assistance
Experience Required:
- Electrical Power Distribution
- Lighting Design
- Fire Alarm Design
- Construction Observation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- EIT preferred
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in building design
- Ability to work well with a team
