Behind the Designs: Fanning Howey 2024 Holiday Card
By Zachary SprungerFanning Howey is fortunate to have a team filled with talented designers and creative professionals. For our 2024 holiday card, we put that talent to the test with a design competition. Now, let’s take a closer look at these fantastic designs and discover the creativity and inspiration behind each concept!
Sam Moschelli, AIA, a Project Executive in our Ferndale, Mich., office, took a modern approach and used AI to help design the ideal card. He rooted the design in the red triangle that defines Fanning Howey’s logo, asking AI to create a snowflake shape growing from larger triangles to smaller triangles. We’re sure you’ll agree that the results are amazing.
Carrie Evans, the Marketing Resource Manager in our Indianapolis, Ind., office, was also inspired by Fanning Howey’s red triangle. She used the form to create a classic holiday scene, complete with a forest of pine trees. And, of course, the entire scene is cast in Fanning Howey’s branded colors.
Quinn Andrew, a Mechanical Intern in our Celina, Ohio, office, continued the focus on our red triangle. His unique take incorporates a fun, festive look using the logo’s arrow and incorporating a holiday catch phrase.
Thanks to everyone who submitted a design concept. We’re excited to see how our talented team will use their skills to create smarter places for learning in 2025.
