Carla Remenschneider, RID, named principal with Fanning Howey and promoted to board of directors

Fanning Howey, an architecture, engineering and interior design firm with a national practice specializing in the design of learning environments, announces the promotion of Carla Remenschneider, IIDA, RID, to principal and to a seat on the firm’s board of directors. Carla is the director of Interior Design at Fanning Howey.

“We are thrilled to have Carla join the highest level of leadership at Fanning Howey,” said William Payne, AIA, Fanning Howey’s chief executive officer. “Her knowledge and experience will be highly valuable in this position given the importance of interior design to learning environments.”

As director of Interior Design at Fanning Howey, Remenschneider has shaped dozens of award-winning learning environments, including Milan Center for Innovative Studies, which received the 2014 Crow Island Citation, and Colonel Smith Middle School, which received the Educational Design Showcase Grand Prize from School Planning & Management. Remenschneider has presented at international conferences such as V/S America Days in Germany, and she regularly contributes articles to publications such as School Planning & Management, Green Operations and Building Design+Construction.
