Fanning Howey Names New Associates

Indianapolis, Indiana, May 27, 2025 – Fanning Howey, a nationally-recognized leader in learning environment design, is pleased to announce the promotion of multiple team members to the role of an Associate. The firm’s Associate program recognizes individuals who display outstanding leadership in the pursuit of creating smarter places for learning.

Associates

Todd Boyer, AIA, is a Project Executive in the firm’s Dublin, Ohio, office. Boyer has a diverse portfolio of award-winning projects for K-12 schools, career-technical centers and universities throughout the Columbus-metro area.

Thad Rhoden, AIA, is a Project Executive, in Fanning Howey’s Dublin, Ohio, office. Rhoden excels in fostering stakeholder communication throughout projects, leveraging his 20+ years in architecture and his focus on the education sector.

Lindsey Rhoden, AIA, is the firm’s Ohio Business Development Manager. She has more than 20 years of experience in both the K-12 and higher education sectors, and she is known for her ability to align a client’s vision with innovative solutions.

Dan Arnold, PE, is a mechanical engineer in Fanning Howey’s Indianapolis office. He joined the firm in 2021 and is currently leading design for the new Net-Zero Zionsville Early Learning and Administration Center in Zionsville, Indiana.

Brittney Castro, AIA, is a project architect in the firm’s Indianapolis office. Castro joined Fanning Howey in 2019 and is recognized for her proactive approach to problem solving and her ability to engage stakeholders throughout a project.

Kate Talkington is a project designer assigned to Fanning Howey’s Indianapolis office. She joined the firm in 2013 and has been an integral part of the design team for more than 100 K-12 school projects.

Chris Swank, CPD, is a plumbing designer with 14+ years’ experience in plumbing and fire suppression design and engineering. Chris is known for his thorough and thoughtful approach to plumbing design on school projects.
