Dennis Bane Named to Fanning Howey Board of Directors

Indianapolis, Indiana, May 27, 2025 – Fanning Howey, a nationally-recognized architecture, interiors and engineering firm specializing in learning environments, is proud to announce that Dennis Bane, AIA, ALEP, has joined the firm’s Board of Directors. Bane is a project executive in Fanning Howey’s Indianapolis office.

Bane has worked exclusively with educational clients for more than 25 years and has developed a reputation as an innovator in the field of educational facility planning and design. He is an Accredited Learning Environment Planner through the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) and was honored as an A4LE Fellow in 2021. Since joining Fanning Howey in 2022, Bane has led K-12 school projects throughout Indiana and has been responsible for some of the firm’s most ambitious planning and design efforts. He specializes in working with progressive, student-centered school districts to create smarter places for learning.

Bane is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he earned a Masters of Architecture.
