Project Architect - Ohio

Fanning Howey is seeking an experienced project architect to join our Ohio team. In line with our mission to create smarter learning environments, you will work closely with project teams serving K-12 and Higher Education clients.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to determine the functional and spatial requirements for new structures or renovations. Prepare detailed information regarding design specifications, materials, colors, systems, and provide cost estimates and project schedules.
- Plan project layouts and integrate engineering elements into a cohesive design for client review and approval.
- Prepare scale drawings and contract documents for building contractors.
- Represent clients in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts.
- Administer construction contracts and conduct periodic on-site observations to ensure compliance with plans.

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 2 years related experience
- Fluency in Revit, Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Products
- Strong technical expertise related to design and construction
